The 4Life Foundation would like to thank all of the business people who attended as well as the all the future leaders (the 35 high school students from Sir Robert Borden, Senator O’Connor and Victoria Park Collegiate) who attended. The day was a great success!

FAMILY DAY – Sunday, July 13th 2008

Family Day was held at 190 Railside (the head quarters of the 4 Life Foundation) in the parking lot. The event was a combined effort from with the Toronto Police Services, Toronto Fire Services and the radio station Flow 93.5. Hundreds of people from the community came out to enjoy the free attractions such as the B4L skills competition, petting zoo, dunk tank and the many large inflatables.

Bike Race – May 31 2008

Some of the Basketball 4 Life youth were invited to the Tour De Malvern Bike Race Sponsored by the Toronto Police Services, the Toronto Argonauts, the New Flow 93.5 and the Toronto Breakfast Club. Our youth came first in all the races and every youth involved received a free race bike from Canadian Tire.

Baseball: Blue Jays Game – Saturday, May 25th 2008

Some of the youth from the 4 Life Foundation attended a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre. They watched the Jays take on the Kansas City Royals. The Toronto Police Services donated some baseball tickets to both the youth and their parents.

KEEPING THE FAITH TOURNAMENT – April 5th 2008

The Keeping the Faith B4L, Pro-Action Cops & Kids Basketball Tournament was held at Seneca College Newnham Campus in honour of Officer Jim Sneep. The event was a combined effort with the 4 Life Foundation, the African Canadian Christian Network, Kwon & Kwon, the New Flow 93.5, Creative Design Dereck Payne and Seneca College. The youth were at Seneca from 8am playing their hearts out to be in the prime time championship game. The show started at 3pm which included the Toronto Police Services vs. Youth All-Star game, Projek Raw dance crew, Police Chief William Blair, Olympian medalist Priscilla Lopes and the Championship game.

B4L Draft: – August 8th 2008

The Basketball 4 Life Draft was held at 190 Railside Rd (North York). The event was a combined effort with the Toronto Police Services Pro-Action Cops & Kids, The African Canadian Christian Network, Infinity Entertainment, Court Vision Basketball and the New Flow 93.5. This event was a landmark happening as the first of its kind in Canadian history. Nothing like this has been held for Toronto’s youth at risk.
